3rd largest ballpark in MLB by seating capacity.
Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball and the only MLB stadium built entirely with private funds — no public money went into its construction. Carved into the hills of Chavez Ravine in Los Angeles, the park opened on April 10, 1962 and has hosted over 3.5 million fans in its peak seasons, making it consistently the best-attended ballpark in MLB. The stadium is renowned for its gorgeous sightlines, tiered pavilion seating, and sweeping views of the San Gabriel Mountains beyond the outfield. Major renovations in 2020 added a modernized main entry plaza, new club spaces, and upgraded concourse amenities while preserving the timeless charm that has made Dodger Stadium one of baseball's most beloved venues.
